Arrow Simple Sig background Tutorial for dummies.

Hello, this is for people who has no idea how to start with photoshop CS3
You can say its a "beginner's tutorial"

but anyways, follow these steps and click on the spoilers to make a cool looking background for your signature

Step1: Open up photoshop (duh) then go to File>New.. and make a 1000 x 1000 pixel plain white image

Step2: Next, is going to your gradent tool in your tool set thingy most likey to your left

Step3: Now make sure you gradient tool is set to all of this in the spoiler below, dont forget to change the mode to difference (as shown in the picture)

Step4: Now drag your gradient tool across your 1000 x 1000 image horizontally while holeing "Shift", keep doing that untill you have something like this..

Step5: Press Ctrl + j twice to make a layer & layer copy

Step6: now go to Filter>distort>polar coordonates as shown

Step7: Once the new window is opened make sure "rectangular to polar" is checked and click ok (do this for both layer and layer copy)

Step8: Next, go to Filter>Distort>Twirl... on your layer copy

Step9: In the twirl options make the twirl 100 degrees

Step10: This is what you should have so far, also highlight layer 1

Step11: Once again go to twirl for your other Layer only this time make it -100 degrees
Spoiler


Step12: Right-click on your Layer copy then go to blending options..
Spoiler


Step13: Now keep everything normal but go to Blend Mode and press lighten

Step14: Now check if you have something like this or close enough to it

Step15: Now rightclick on one of the layers and click on "merge visible"

Step16: Once you merged your image together Press Ctrl+B to open one of my favortie Tools
Once opened, you can change the color to what you like,

Step17: You can change the color of the shadows, midtones, and highlights, I went with this for no particular reason.

Step18: Now go to Select>All or Ctrl+A then Ctrl+C to copy your 1000 x 1000 Image

Step19: Go to File>New... and make your sig size here (I go with 400 x 125)

Step20:Now Paste your Image and then using the tool marked as a black arrow (dont know the name lol) drag your image until you found a spot you like to put it as.
