Well, if I had to compare the sexual assaults in this show and the one in Ikkitousen (the latter was female on female by the by, the rape was male on female, or was it males on female. Don't quite recall. *shrugs*).
The Ikkitousen one dealt with someone who'd been paralyzed in battle (usual secret techniques stuff), and thus was unable to do anything about what occurred with her.
In this case, the chap being assaulted had a number of options, none of which he used. The hold he was held in, wasn't completely immobilizing either. Now, if the other chap had rotated his wrist as well, then yeah, open and shut case, you can't get out of it then.
But considering how he was held (shoulder lock essentially, he could've either twisted out of it, or he could've slammed his head into the guy's face, when the latter started to whisper sweet nothings in his ear).
And especially considering what happened afterwards, one could definitely quibble if it was or wasn't sexual assault. Apparently, that's one of the things that women find interesting in this genre, the thin line between assault and simply being seduced/ravaged. *shrugs*
Not my sort of thing, but eh.. Tastes differ.. I find stuff like what occurs in School Days rather offensive as well. Hence, why I haven't watched that show. This seems to have been a one time "incident".
You could give it a look see yourself. Mayhaps, you'll find it amusing, maybe you won't. *shrugs*
