I'd have to say that I don't have a preferred genre. I like my entertainment to be varied of course... but I don't believe that anything should be bound by the concrete walls of "genre" It's one of the reasons I like Anime so much. If you think of entertainment like food then "Genre" based entertainment would be a TV Dinner with separated portions. While true entertainment would preferably be a delicious thick and rich stew.

Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to go watch some stew.
