The sun may not be big enough to create a super nova then a black hole but...even if the sun is not as big but it could be possible that it could create a black hole.
Now I haven't even said that with out the sun humans can't survive. The coldness of space will make us sooooo cold and most likely turn into another ice age.
But...that wouldn't happen so don't worry since the sun won't "explode" for a few million years O.o
