Everyones opinion are their own.
Even if you didn't agree with hers she was still asking for opinions, not what you think about hers.

Ontopic: Said before, giving animals rights would mean they would recognize their own rights that they are given. They don't understand a whole lot besides what we teach them. They don't exactly understand our language so giving them rights is basically giving them an interesting object they've never seen before, they'll just think nothing of it later after inspecting it.
