If I knew anyone that did this... I would not hesitate to beat their ass.
I'm not an animal rights activist, but torturing simply out of "fun" is asinine and should be punishable. If not by law, I will take the matter of punishment into my own hands. If I was arrested for it? I'd love to go to trial and catch PETA's eye.
Animal testing? I'm for it... Simply because the animals being used for testing are raised specifically for that reason. It's not performed on the domesticated animals we all know and love.
Hell, I found a small fawn caught in my neighbor's barbed wire fence with it's ankle broken off. I cut it loose and brought it water. The next day I was going to bring it down to an animal sanctuary, but it was dead by then. My entire story and experience is here:
