I'm am a lot better with a wooden katana or a wooden wakizashi, and I use those instead, but I avoid hitting him directly, only to disarm him. there is one word that can discribe it but i shant say it lol. when i practice im much better off with 2 wakizashi, my left arm defends, my right arm attacks, but i sometimes swap over if i notice an opening i can take advantage of... i never liked kendo thouhg, did u not find it to rigid, stab, or vertical stabs are mostly all that is allowed its rather grusome, although very effective
