Dude, they cant do anything about piracy at all, think about the music piracy issue years ago with P2P programs, no matter what they do, they wont eliminate piracy, the point was that they're going about it the wrong way. Even if we are in the wrong, if they buy the liscence they shouldn't automatically assume that people are going to buy it from them for no reason. It doesn't matter if people are in the wrong or not, they're going to go for what they think better suits them. We already went over why no one buys the goods from the companies, so it this point you're just arguing the ethics over how it's wrong.
Well honestly, no one gives a shit, what kind of idiot would buy some low quality product when they can get one that's 100x better YEARS before the official one comes out. It's that simple. it may be wrong but they can't stop, even if they tried. Again, remember how death note CND turned out? They can't do anything but throw around threats to the fansubbers, but even then there are tons of underground subs. No one is going to listen to them unless they AT LEAST make a reasonable upgrade in their products which would get rid of the need of piracy.
