Desu is not really a verb. Its declaring something as a statement. "kore wa neko" means "this here is a cat" "Kore wa neko desu" is declaring that its a cat.

shouga ne == shouga nai. "Ne" is the slang word for "Nai" Just like "Da" is the slang term for "desu"
Bakamono directly translated means "Thing that is an idiot". Thing in this statement can and is generally plural. Yaro as in "Bakayaro" is like adding "you" to "idiot" to make "you idiot". Except "you" isnt meant in a good way.
Hisashiburi is sometimes also shortened to "Sashiburi".

hope that helps.
