sorry to revive this but ive just got off the phone and a friend of mines has just told me about an argument he had and won with his ISP, he had got a email warning for downloading speed grapher.
This was his first of the 3 warnings they give you... so being the great minded man he is he phoned up and complained, they said they caught him downloading copyrighted material, he replied in depth of where when and how much the speed grapher dvds cost him that he bought the week before, he then demanded that if he has to pay over 20 pound for 4 episodes they could atleast give him a recovery method of getting the episodes back if the disk gets scratched or broken, blah blah
after that bit he said, now that u know i own the DVD's Before i downloaded my back up copy (he said its quicker to download the eps then rip and rencode them) i request that you remove my warning and contact me the next time this happens as if it occurs once more i will be reporting it to a higher athourity.
just had to tell you all this as that right there is epic win-ness
