Some people will disagree with you there...but Code Lyoko and Avatar are at least on wikipedia classified as T.V. animation series, just another name for anime since anime is Japanese T.V. animation...well this can go on forever.....

Anime, to me is an animation that isnt spoken as the same language as me (english) which is also why i hate dub's. anything that is english i class as a cartoon :p

After what i can see W.i.t.c.h is an anime series, just made in France (couldn't be arsed to read it all, but it says it's accepted as anime as far as i can see

I really like the code lyoko opening song it's like techno which is awesome.

Anyways, lol I remember WinX and W.I.T.C.H on T.V, but didn't like either very much.

I thought anime was a broad term to define animation...it's just recently there has been a trend to define anime as japanese animation only...

In Japan the word anime is used as a broad term to define all animation. However alot of people in western countries including myself define anime as animation of Japanese origin.
