Lets not forget that the females in this anime are no angels either.

Honestly, I'm not a fan of "happily ever after" endings. They're too cheesy tend to attack my suspension of disbelief. I've just finished watching this series without knowing anything about it other than a lot of people disliked it. i have to say its one of my favorites now.

Edit: Also the Valentine's Day OVA is absolutely HILLARIOUS!

no not going to finish it, and i went on youtube to find the ending...wow that is all kinds of fucked up. i cant really even explain my reaction to what happened

This anime belongs to the 'Fucked Up' genre... seriously. But I laughing like hell when Makoto got what he deserved, Sekai shouldn't have ended up like that.

In that simplistic view everyone deserved to die. It takes two to cheat after all.

I thought this anime was amazing, though I don't think most people will understand the moral and ethical quandries it presents. Instead they tend to just show apathy towards the male lead.

I know right !
It isn't all Makoto's fault.
The girls let him do it, he didn't force them at all.
So I don't know why everyone is only talking trash about Makoto
I mean Sekai knew Makoto liked Katsura but she chose love over friendship
and started having sex and making crap up !
And even Sekai's friends had sex with Makoto, and they all knew that he liked
Katsura, her "suppose-to-be-friends".

Difference? He was actually getting the girls!! So it gave a +1 to the series in the "harem genre" but as we know the harem wasn't all there was to the story it was about their relationships with each one of them.

Well as i said it felt too rushed so you couldn't swallow it all in one shot probably is a have to re watch it would be cool to get my hands on a Translated Visual Novel it would show all the dept and possibility's of the story. Oh well it was worth it 7.5/10

Well.. the anime was ok, but the end was disappointing and the guy had it coming, cause by cheating on his girlfriend and cheating on the friend who got them together and started calling sex " Practice ", Rofl..

yeah when the "practice" sessions began and the cheating seemed to become blatant i thought it went downhill fast. i loved it up until episode 5 then i finished watching and just watched the last episode, i couldnt really watch him just be a dick to both of them for 7 more episodes.
