Lite is.

No he isn't lol. light is insane, beyond belief, he has no morals and he'll kill anyone if they get in his way. If Lelouch was like light Nunally and Suzaku would be dead. He has morals and he faces issues that Light doesn't even care about like the true right and wrong, his love life, etc. Light is just an ego maniac who happens have a high IQ.

Anyways Takki is right in the sense that they're a different type of teenage high IQ ego obsessed anime. lol, Geass is about political right and wrong, ethics and morals, and of course about how people go about obtaining peace in general. While deathnote is in the end just a mind game, with L and Kira fighting each other over what they think right and wrong is. Of course Kira is mental

↑ The reason I'm asking all of these questions is because i saw one episode last week (July 19) and it didn't really have anything with death note.

I liked the romance and stuff but i didn't really get it. I guess I'm gonna have to watch it from the beginning.

you should watch it, its a very entertaining show, the story itself is awesome to a whole new level, it might not be the best anime out there but its worth watching, its something completely new. and if worst comes to worst and you dont like it, at least you will then be able to make educated reasons why you dont like it lol.

Heres my written summary of the start of the plot, and dont worry there arent any spoilers:

The first episode starts with a bit of a prologue telling the watchers what happened up untill the story.

Basically the Holy Empire of Britannia[show above] (what Britain would have become if we lost the revolutionary war) set it's sights on the country of Japan. Now despite Britannia's massive size and strength Japan was able to hold it's ground. But not for long. Britannia soon brought out it's secret weapons: Knightmares.

Basically they are gundums with grappling hooks and sh*t. These knightmares crushed the japanese armies and Britannia emerged victorious. Britannia decided to continue to belittle the people of humble japan by renaming the country Area Jyuuichi (11) and calling the citizens Elevens.

The story follows a Britannian student named Lelouch who gets caught up in a terrorist plot. He gets surrounded by Britannian soldiers in a basement when a strange woman, who comes out of a capsle thought to have been filled with poison gas, gives him a strange ability. The Geass.

The Geass contains the power to enforce absolute command on anyone who the user looks at. Lelouch quickly uses this power and orders the group of soldiers to die. And with a final sentance of "Yes Your Majesty" the soldiers all commit suicide. With this newfound power Lelouch decides to put it to use. He is going to destroy the Britannian Empire.

watch it you wont regret it but i really dont feel like it is much like anything in death note. 1 in death note light has no morals and will kill anyone. And really that series doesnt have any romance or anything it is all based around lights plans to kill the next person in his way of becoming a god. But death note was a great series a 10 all the way. Code Geass on the other hand takes lots of generes and mixes them and the whole mecha part of it really has nothing to do with the series other than thats what they use to fight. But anway its a great series check it out if you have anymore questions feel free to ask me!
