Tsukuyomi Moon Phase Episode 1 Poetry Narration
so i got really bored after being in the hospital waiting for 9 hours and decided it would be really cool to try and narrate the first episode of tsukuyomi moon phase in poetry. its 100 lines, not all on tempo though but i think pretty close. its not word for word as it hints at stuff later on in the anime but if you have at least seen the first episode i think you will get a kick out of it. please let me know what you think.
A vampire in a castle all alone,
The girl in the painting is but a ghost.
Stashed away behind walls of stone,
Behind a mask a keeper watches, this is his post.
A trio approaches a mountainous castle,
The girl in the photos on a ledge so high.
Ancient walls loom before, making entry but a hassle,
An old fortress known to locals as a place to come and die.
A man passes through the barrier, seeing what should not be,
Spirits clouding all around, telling him to leave.
Into the darkness and what does he see?
A girl he meets or so she seems on the full moons eve.
Out of the shadows, she floats as if on air,
A shining white dress worn by a girl oh so pale.
Old candle lights flicker, casting a slight glow on her dark black hair,
A girl so sweet, could she be a creature of a legendary tale?
Pale white skin covering a face so young and small,
Soft lips barely puckering over hidden fangs.
Dressed in an outfit as if to attend a ball,
A shiny pendant from her necklace hangs.
Piercing blue and shining gold,
Twin personalities held in it enter-twined.
"Stay here in this castle" by her mother she was told,
Abandoned and alone, felt left behind.
She tells this story man before her,
An aura of disbelief around him lingers.
She then asks him "into this castle, why did you enter?"
He looks down and grabs her soft, slender fingers.
Deep into her blood red eyes he looks,
And out of his mouth comes the following words.
"To pose for my camera with your mystical looks,
You were up on a ledge so high, untouched even by the birds."
Startled she gives him a curious smile,
With her next breath, "onii-sama" she whispers so slightly.
"Why don't you come with me and stay a while,
And do not take what next you hear so lightly."
"Take my present for you have brought me bliss,"
Approaching him slowly with her eyes closed.
Little did he know she was going to give him the vampire's kiss,
But wait what is this? A figure appears, a face, a mask, on the stone imposed
Commanding earth, commanding vines,
Chained to a stone, useless it seems to escape.
What is this magic that in the sky makes lines?
"A guardian, a barrier" she says, to keep me in this estate.
An earthquake occurs and light pierces the sky,
The opportunity arises and to his side does she go.
"Finally, i give you my present" she says and looks into his eyes,
Beginning to feel uneasy, he manages to whisper "no."
She coyly smiles and bears her fangs,
Terror fills his eyes and he wonders "what could she be?"
Her eyes start glow, the light shining from behind her bangs,
"Come" she says, "now belong to me."
She grabs his shoulders and smells his neck,
Then bites down and gives him the vampire's kiss.
Rubies drop from the corner of her mouth, his emotions becoming a wreck,
She looks up and immediately notices that something is amiss.
Hurt and startled, the blood contract has failed,
"I practiced so hard, my servant why wont you become?"
Unbeknown to her, her plans had been derailed,
"Baka!" he says, "why would you be so dumb?"
Ama Lamia he was, something which neither of them knew,
"Onii-sama" she says, "why won't you become mine?"
A vampires lover was he, so to her bite he was immune,
"But to leave this dreary place does my heart so pine."
"Help me escape, help me believe,
In a world i have only seen in a dream.
Out of the castle i want to leave,
And see the things as they never ever seem.
"Alright" he says, "I'll help you escape this place,
But to make this clear, your servant i will never be."
To destroy the barrier it will be a race,
Vigo guards it as you have yet to see.
"He will come for me, he will try to stop you,
Placed by my father, he will stop for nothing.
Haiyaku! Hurry Kouhei! I will protect you,
Get to that ball and please do something."
Through the castle quickly they moved,
Past histories of the vampires clan they ran.
Traps and obstacles were quickly removed,
"Kouhei!" she screamed, "run as fast as you can."
Hallways of shadows, doors made of eyes,
Floors of moving earth, beams that tried to pierce the heart.
The castle, all at vigo's hand beckoning Kouhei's demise,
The charm that saved him, one with which he could never part.
It saved his life, nothing but a hole in his jacket remains, see?
Past the door, in he walked to the room of which the barrier was placed.
Out of the floor a massive dragon came to be,
The magic that gave the dragon strength in the orb was placed.
A flash of light pierced the floor and the dragon did it slain,
Kouhei ran, Kouhei jumped, and to the ball he dove.
He threw the ball upon the floor until only shards remain,
And into the night sky, the purple light it wove.
Arcane markings of unknown origins filled the sky,
Vigo screamed and the whole castle shook.
The maiden was free and unto the heavens did she cry,
"Never again will i be placed into this hidden nook!"
Away from the castle quickly Kouhei ran,
"But wait" he said, "wheres the girl i came to set free?
Was it a dream, did i really become a man,
Wheres Hazuki, the girl who i thought was the one for me?"
