somehow i dont see that happening, usually when an interest with a tsundere character is involved the male lead usually ends up becoming stronger

edit: anywho i have high hopes for the series.

Agreed. That's usually the formula and I hope it remains true with Toradora. When I read the VA staff I had high hopes for this show.

I thought it was a pretty good starting episode. Hope they can continue with the same intensity.

Well stated. That is also my feeling so far.

Toradora seems like a fairly ordinary gender role reversal story to me at this point. The originality will come from each character's motivations when those are revealed, but in the meantime it looks like there will be plenty of humor, which always makes the ordinary bearable for me. Actually I really enjoyed the first episode and I hope it doesn't end up being unoriginal copypasta from the 1000s of other high school dramedies. I guess we'll see in the coming episodes.

It was a most excellent first episode! My current favorite of the fall lineup so far, I just hope they can keep up the intensity in the following episodes.

so the second episode is awesome, the relationship b/w ryuuji and taiga progresses...and it definitely did not dissapoint.
