i plan on reading the manga, but this is one series where i want nothing spoiled or even hinted about so ill definitely read it after the anime is over.

I'm unsure how I feel about the second episode. On one hand their friendship has progressed. On the other, their relationships with the two they liked respectively went backwards.

I'd give the second episode a 6.5 out of 10.
As long as the male lead doesn't become annoying and the show doesn't introduce a romantic relationship between the two leads I'll keep watching.

i would actually prefer a romantic relationship between the two leads to bloom. i think kitamura has someone else that he is interested in besides watching out for ryuuji's feelings. also, just with the way that the distance was portrayed between the two, i think an inevitable reconciliation had to occur.

The problem with that is that it has been done over and over and over... That's fine for your normal, generic tsundere romcom but I expect more than the normal cookie cutter bullshit from Toradora.

Oh I agree. I certainly don't want to see the progression stall out. And I don't really care if the leads actually become romantically involved with the people of their current choosing.

The series is pretty good thus far but they really need to break the mold if this series wants to not fall into the morass of other tsundere romcoms that have become forgettable.

Also, the OP is pretty sweet.

I opening and ending is pretty catchy. And vanilla salt? A weird title and lyrics at the beginning. Salty Vanilla... I wonder how that will taste...
