The Quirks About Anime (Discussion about less known Anime titles)
I have a feeling that many people will disagree with me here, but: I feel that many long and established series such as Bleach and Naruto have been lagging recently, and there are so many new little and unknown series that are incredibly well made, but have received so litte attention. Series under 20 episodes seem to present some of the best storylines I've seen, and series about 26 episodes also have a pretty tight storyline. So why is it that these series never make it to the wide userbase of anime? For anyone looking for something different, these shorter series are amazing.
Anime directors have unique style, what makes it kinda difficult to judge these kinds of things. But in this thread, feel free to talk about anything concerning series that are short and not so well known.
REC
Shingetsutan Tsukihime
etc. etc.

the problem is mostly that the donīt have enought time...ongoing anime like Bleach and Naruto are viewed every week cause there are new episodes...(i have seen many 20 episodes long anime and must say not all have a good story but some are special)
and cause they are seen every week people start talking about them, and what will happen next week and so on...

I bet, also I think the the shorter ones are short because of the storyline, think about it if DN has been along as naruto it probably would have been worse. I think that some of the best ones are the shorter ones. I never likes stuff that lasted to long anyways it gets old. XD

10001001100100111000101001001100 = 13 bits
Now lets use math!
1TB = 1,024 GB = 1,048,576 MB = 1,073,741,824 KB = 1,099,511,627,776 Bytes = 8,796,093,022,208 bits. I pity the fool who thinks a terabyte isn't alot of space, 'cause I highly doubt that they're willing to write atleast 8 trillion one's...
I'm going to be off for a while due to tests. Cya later.

Bleach has turned into a series that's becoming borderline irritating. I don't want to watch the same 5-minute intro, and I don't want to see people sitting still, talking to and staring at each other. However, I still watch it and enjoy it... There's nothing better to do.

I'd rather short series anime, but probably because I have a problem with not finishing anime, so its easier on me to watch short series anime lol

Main problem causing this might be, because there's an overlap between the manga and the anime. The latter being based on the former so it can't flow as quickly as it wants, lest it catch up with the source material, in which case they'd have to halt production for a while till another buffer has been created and with a once a month release date for a lot of mangas, such a buffer could easily comprise several years (Keep in mind 4 episodes a month for the anime vs 1 for the manga and in most cases 1 episode = 1 manga).
Pure anime's not based on manga, but which have the occassional one-shot derived from it, can focus more on the story and get it properly flowing. The latter are also often shorter in length than the hybrid versions like Naruto or Bleach.
Attraction issue? The longer something is running, the more likely that someone will accidentally stumble over it, from there it becomes a word of mouth situation. So even if you've maxed your current audience, by having the show run longer, you increase the chance of someone new coming in and potentially dragging in new viewers, this even taking into account loss of interest of previous fans.
