Shikabane Hime: Aka episode 2
Good episode, kinda sad also. The monsters were awesomely weird in this episode. i wish the male lead would quit being worthless though, he needs to acquire/uncover a ability or something, worthless lead roles suck. but other then that i liked it, what does everyone else think about it?

Very good episode. Very dark and sinister. I really enjoyed it.
Besides that, we've already uncovered at least one of the male lead's special abilities, his humanity. Although its mostly just an action anime, it relies on psychological horror to drive its point across. The underlining theme is how precious humanity is and the tragedy when someone loses their humanity.

toten, please dont post, COMPLETELY off topic.
and tenser you can really consider humanity to be a special ability, i mean, all things human have some form of it.

When you consider the setting of the anime, the majority of the characters (female lead and all antagonists thus far) lack humanity. Also, the male lead seems to show an abundance of humanity in as much as it causes him to empathize/sympathize with not just the female lead but the girl who had intended to cause him harm. He doesn't fear these "Corpses" as most would but rather pities them. I believe this is what makes him special.

Towards the end of the ep when one of the monks suggest to follow him sentinel (or whatever his called) said not to worry about because its his brother. They were also talking about him at his work place after he leaves that he is special because of his family. It seems like their is a trait that gets passed down that he probably inherited. Whatever that is mite be his "special skill."

They are not real brothers >.< that was explained in the episode after that statment.
i would assume the work place said that because they know what the family does, anyway, when i said special ability, i meant someone that didnt make him a lame normal human. to sum it up, i want to see him kick somethings ass

It was explained in the first episode that he was raised at the temple/orphanage and him and the monk just think of each other as brothers. There's no blood relation, at least none that has been revealed.
