Onegai Sensei!
Kusanagi Kei is a young high school student who suffers from a rare, though non-lethal disease. This disease only triggers itself when Kei finds himself in a state of extreme emotional and/or psychological depression or worry. When this happens, he, as he refers to it, "stops", going into a coma that lasts for a random period of time.
3 years prior to the beginning of the series, Kei "stopped" after witnessing the suicide of his older sister. The stop lasted for 3 years, while Kei's body refused to age. When he awoke, everything around him had changed.
Kei had just settled down with his new life as an 18 year old stuck in his 15 year old body when something happened out at the nearby lake. A spaceship crash-landed into the lake, and an alien being who looked suprisingly like a woman bathed in a white glow, materialized before him. Kei ran away and somehow found his way home. The next day, he was informed of a new teacher. The new teacher's name was Mizuho-sensei, and hot damn was she good-looking!
When he returned home, he was shocked to find that Mizuho-sensei would be living in the house next to his. Eventually, Kei and Mizuho are found in the P.E. storage shed, where she had been trying to speak with him. This compromising position leads to Kei telling the head of the school about his medical condition, and that he is truthfully 18. Kei then boldly states that himself and Mizuho are engaged to be married. The head, having married a younger woman, understands how such a situation may feel, and agrees to let both of them stay as long as there is no PDA and they keep their relationship a secret.
Afterwards, all sorts of things go wrong. As they do, the relationship between teacher and student grows into something beyond the comprehension or even the wildest dreams of those around them. Based on the poetic notion that love can blossom anywhere and at anytime, Onegai Sensei is the story that touches the hearts of even the newest of anime-watchers.
Watch Onegai Sensei and see what happens when your teacher isn't all she seems, and you are forced to marry and live with her.

Yup. Sensei being the term they use for teacher. Onegai being please.
Side note, Kei is a bit of an idiot at times, especially when you consider what he puts Mizuho through. Though granted his in-laws are somewhat of a pain in the backside. Least he does get to know to when his missus grows old enough to be in her proverbial 50s, that she'll still look as if she's in her late 20s (always look at how the mom looks, telling sign as to how well your lady will age).
Also don't fully get why he keeps calling her sensei, even when they're alone together in their home and whilest fully going at it, like two animals in heat. Uhm... She's your wife.. Call out her name for crying out loud.. *shakes head*

i've watched this anime too,
and Kei is pretty much the whimp and really clumzy
but the story pretty good, and it's not really a high school anime sort of thing
what seems in the beginning

the anime was great but i'm watching onegai twins. It's not as great as onegai teacher...kind of like a sequal without much of kei....but mizuhoa sensei appears occasionally.

Kei probably still thinks of her as his teacher. At least in Onegai Twins, when they all go out to the lake for a camping trip and pretty much everyone has sex, he doesn't call her by 'sensei'.

This anime was pretty superb, it pretty much had everything comedy, romance, maybe a little action? I don't remember everything about it, but it was definitely worth a watch.
Pocky!
