Detective Conan
What do you get when a 17 year old high school student/detective, with a mind that could put Sherlock Holmes out of business, gets a child's body thanks to a mysterious drug, and force him to solve cases for an amateur detective so he can find the guys who transformed him?
Why, you get Detective Edogawa Conan, child detective extraordinaire! With gadgets, murder, robbery, and all sorts of horrific criminal activity, Detective Conan is sure to get even the youngest of anime fans into solving crimes using only their brain and a few simple, or complex, clues.
Shinichi, a 17 year old high school student, childhood friend of Ran, the daughter of an amateur detective, gets transformed by an experimental drug into a child, where he begins going by the name of Edogawa Conan, a variation of the names of two of Japan's greatest detectives.
Unfortunately, the drug leaves no trace, so he has no way of turning himself back to normal. Instead, his good friend, Dr. Agasa, an oddball scitentist with an invention-failure-rate of around 90%, lets him stay with Ran and her father. From then on "Conan" travels with Ran and her detective daddy to various places, solving case after case in an attempt to obtain information about the men who transformed him and their experimental drug.
It's non-stop comedy mixed with the suspense of murder, crime-solving, romance, and ultimately the fight to return Conan to who he once was. This is a daring, action packed anime with incredible detective skills that could possibly be used in real life to save you. Simply for that reason alone, I recommend Detective Conan as your priority one to watch. With exactly 50 episodes, you'll be holding onto the edge of your seat, biting your lip, and trying not to scream or cheer for a long while, even after the series is over. Watch Detective Conan today, and discover the answer, the "one and only truth"!
P.S. Avan-kun do good, hai?
