Ok, I will try to do this in a new way if possible, maybe as mangime suggested, let's see how this will work out.
Title: Hatenkou Yuugi
Genre: Action/Drama/Fantasy/Romance
Episodes: 10
Plot: A young girl named Rahzel is abruptly sent off to see the world by her father. She is alone on her travels until she meets Alzeid, a mysterious loner on a mission of revenge. At first the two do not get along, but little by little, Alzeid opens his heart to Rahzel.
Review: Ok, this was a pretty short series. If you started from the beginning like I did, you'll find that you won't need to. The story jumps around quite often; based on the manga Dazzle, this series goes from manga chapter 5 to 2 to 29 etc. Thus each episode is episodic, and there doesn't seem to be a strong overlying plot. Taking all this out, however, character design is so damn kawaii!

Rahzel is almost impossibly cute, and her outgoing, blunt, and engaging personality was what kept me on this series. Although the story isn't that much cohesive, Rahzel kept me going!! Her implied, and probably at the end, suggested romantic relationship with Alzeid will be thrilling. Alzeid is another excellently done character. Mysterious, enigmatic, him and Rahzel as well as another companion they meet, called Baroqueheat kept me on this series way longer than the story by itself would have. Ultimately this is a series and study in character design rather than plot, and although this is the case, it starts to become more cohesive towards the end, so much so; I demand a second season.
Pros: Outstanding character design. Good atmospheric music and background art. Decent plot, not the best, but good enough.
Cons: Episodic series, no overlying dominant plot.
Final Thoughts: Very decent series. Needs a second season to wrap up the indefinite cliffhanger and the appearance of a surprise character towards the end. Come to think of it, there probably will be one.
