I am not a Anti Death Note kind of person but my dad told me not to watch it because he found in the news that other countries are starting to ban this anime due to its context. I think it was because of the terrisum so countries banned it. Also I am kind of afraid to watch it but I asked a friend to tell me the whole story so basically I know what is happening.
