Basic Plotline:

The main character is Tatsuhiro Satō, a university dropout entering his fourth year of unemployment. He leads a reclusive life as a hikikomori (person refusing to become a part of society), ultimately coming to the bizarre conclusion that this happened due to some sort of conspiracy. One day just when his life seems entirely unchanging, he meets Misaki Nakahara, a mysterious girl who claims to be able to cure Tatsuhiro of his hikikomori ways.

This anime was Based off of the Manga: Welcome to the NHK (Duh)

To be honest I loved this anime so much. It's a shame I finished it, but it's like one of those animes that have a secret effect on you, it's funny at times but there are deep emotional scenes and psycological issues shown at it's most grittiest.
