.Hack//Sign

Genre: Adventure/Mystery/Fantasy

Synopsis:

Taking place 2 years after the "Pluto's Kiss" crisis. "The World" once again returns. This time being the only PC game in existence. Tsubasa a boy who started playing only a few weeks before, finds himself taken to a mysterious zone, where he meets Aura, Morganna, and a mysterious player that has the appearance of a cat. Soon after realizing that he can't logout, he is forced to stay in "The World", but unlike other characters he can still feel pain, he still has his emotions. He slowly separates himself from those who try to help him, the only ones that can help him. His friends Bear and Black Rose, constantly try to comfort him in his struggle, but he always pushes them away. He only wants to search for the answer to why he can't logout, and to the real question of who he really is.

My Review:

Well Wow umm. I loved this show, the characters were made brilliantly and this is another great add to the .hack family. The story may start out slow but it really picks up. Slowy giving you false information and also the changing character relationships throughout the show is what really brought it into one of my favorites.

Art: 9/10
Music: 8/10 (Classic stuff)
Animation: 7/10 (Coulda been Better)
Storyline: 10/10 (Perfect)
Characters: 10/10 (I wouldn't change anything)

All in all:
9/10

I HIGHLY Reccomend this to any anime viewer.

Storyline = Epic
i own all the games that came out for the ps2
mostly what i bought for the storyline cuz the gameplays alil repetitive
Also... I wish that they will keep coming out with .hacks in the future but it looks alil grim

i started . hack sign on tv but never finished it. it twas entertaining though
i might have to start it again..... *looks at huge to watch list*

I have the same problem... Thousands of anime to watch, but too little time >.<

.hack//sign is definitely one of my favorite anime series, but I hate how they completely changed The World in .hack//roots. It became more steampunk than fantasy, and I'm not saying that I don't like steampunk, but it just felt out of place.

I recently began to re-watch this series since it's removal from the cartoon network station and I must say that watching it again really got me wondering about the latest games and series.The characters are slick and the plot and story line is something to keep you asking questions and proposing possible explenations about who's going to die next and how tsukasa will end up back into the human world.It keeps you on edge and it's conversations could keep you up to date in the latest technology's about computers.With Tsukasa's attitude,Mimi-ru's spunky self,Subaru's compassion to Tsukasa and their need top protect him/her,this show overall gets a 10/10.
