Genre-Action Fantasy

It doesn't seem like a whole lot of people have seen this so i decided to review it


In a time known as the Dark Era there are powerful monsters named Vandels and the ones who fight them Vandel Busters.Busters fight the Vandels with special weapons called Saigas which is the soul of the Vandel buster manifested in weapon form each Saiga is different and powerful.Busters are known too be powerful if they have a Saiga but they also have a level system which is branded on there chest the Vandels use stars to determine their power.



Beet a spunky energetic kid that can stay up for three days straight then sleep a whole day has signed the Buster contact to officially become a buster and hopefully join the Zenon warriors the most powerful busters there are.His friend Poala berates him for doing such a rash thing without consulting her.But a powerful 5 star Vandel appears (btw a 5 star is really strong a normal vandel is about 3-4 star)and challenges the Zenon warriors to fight him they oblige and start an all oout battle with Belltoze the name of the vandel and they start slowly gaining an upperhand when Beet rushes out to the field and gets caught by Belltoze and killed.The Zenon warriors,while distracted get critically injured through a powerful attack.
they hide away with beets body and knowing they are going to die they opt to give Beet their Saigas thus saving his life and revealing that Zenon is Beets elder brother.Beet then goes out and trains in the wilderness for three years honing his skills so he can end the Dark Era.

The animation is pretty good no complaints

the sound effects are a little iffy some of the sounds didn't really match what they were supposed to but the voice acting was excellent and it has that heroic music in the background thats a little cheesy but i love it

the first opening is very good i found myself rewinding to hear it again the ending is also good but a little more mellower
the second opening is also catchy but i dont like it as much as well as the ending

It is very entertaining and throws quite a few plot twists in it as well some obvious some i didn't see coming



I give it a 8.8/10

ok i think i got it all but really i recommend this anime too anyone who hasn't seen it and there is like literally one episode that doesn't have some sort of fighting so i love it

hmm, i read the manga and wasnt entirely into it. the anme is basically an rpg game! lol

but maybe i'll check out the songs
