Abortion crime or not?

I believe Abortion to not be a crime. Imagine if you're a women and you get pregnant at a really young age. You obviously can't take care of it and if you could it would ruin your education. The child won't have a good life because you can't take care of it well with the ammount of money you make because you did not finish school. You are not mature enough and you just cause the child more suffering especially when he finds out his mother was 15 or something when she had him.

Also imagine all the people who get forced into sexual intercourse, do they really want to have a child from a man that forced you to have sex? Hell no. That person could have aids and many other desieses. do you want your child born with that?

These are my standing points on this case, post yours?

My opinion is that abortion is a crime if its only done because the mother cannot be bothered having another child when she didnt protect herself.

but if its like rape, or for reasons like naga above has noted then, no i dont believe it to be a crime

Look, I don't consider it to be a crime because of the fact that the embrio hasn't been fully devoped.
Now if you kill it simply cause you dont want it, or you think it's gonna ruin your life (basicly nagas second reason) your nothing but an idoit. Think of the consiquences befor you have sex, or atleast use a condum...
I don't mind killing another human, but only do it if it's a last resort otherwise your just scum.

People use the arguement that 'Its a Life' your destroying, effectively it going to be, But if the parents for what ever reason are unable to look after it, there is no point being born in a world such as that.

I dont think its a Crime, but they should only do it if the situation is right =]

I'd consider it a crime since it's living and WILL become a complete person eventually, how would u feel if your mother was pregnent with a sibling for 6 months then suddenly decided to kill it? u just lost a sibling then, what if they did it when it was U? u'd be dead right now then

Killing an embryo ( such as its only few weeks old) is like killing a plant, nither know whats happened, nither feel pain and nither will remember it., although the embryo has potential but i dont mean at 6 months pregnancy i ment within the first few weeks

In my opinion...

If the woman is too young to take care of it, she can give it away to willing people who can take care of it. Give it to a police or fire station or a hospital, etc who would find the baby a good home...and they [the woman] can give it up anonymously too.

Abortion is like how they just throw the newborn away into a trashcan or where ever to die.

Partial abortion is worse...you want to know what they do? They take the baby's brain out and keep the rest in there. That's...disgusting.

Why abort a baby when a woman has been raped? Oh my god, it's not the baby's fault.

A baby deserves a chance at life. No one shouldn't make the choice for them to die without giving them a chance.

you know a man has millions of sperm each one is an unborn child. everyday sperm dies so loads of possible babies die as well.
I think killing the baby before he is able to come out even by force is ok because its the same thing as sperm dieing. Each one is a possible baby.

ya, it's immidiatly alive when the egg is fertilized by the sperm, it's true 100s-1000s of sperm die a day but they aren't alive on there own, they are a part of the male, but after uniting with the egg they become their own person

I dont see it as a crime, seeing the child isnt even really a child when it is aborted. It is hardly developed at all. They can only abort up to 22 weeks into the pregnancy right? Well I suppose it all depends on the circumstances :-\

sometimes they inject it first to kill the baby then when the mother is giving birth they crush thye childs head and pull it out, ud think theyd have a better way, or at least a more respectful one
