yes ive seen several videos of such things..its wrong and it should be stopped but i still dont think animals should have rights..i think the real problem is people in general who dont see the pain and horror they inflict on a helpless animal....animal abuse is often tied with animal rights because of the emotional effect it will have on most ppl, but i dont belive giving animals rights would solve the problem of animal abuse, in all honosty im not sure what could be done, even if laws were passed as halfheart said earlier there just isnt enough law enforcment to cover such cases, well unless they put more priority toward such cases

That's absolutely horrifying.

Part of the problem is that a lot of people who abuse animals seem to lack empathy. They don't realize that the animals they torture feel pain, or, if they do, they just don't care it.

I agree. Phew, when I saw this topic name "Animal rights" I thought you were some kind of animal protection person so I was like heck no O.o good thing your opinions are decent. We shouldn't give animals rights or whatever, just like don't kill domestic animals and that's that.

I love animals and I believe that they need all the rights that they have, I think is a good way to keep the animal word intact for future generations

Ontopic: Said before, giving animals rights would mean they would recognize their own rights that they are given. They don't understand a whole lot besides what we teach them. They don't exactly understand our language so giving them rights is basically giving them an interesting object they've never seen before, they'll just think nothing of it later after inspecting it.

Here's a video of a cow being shredded alive. You can here it screaming (mooing anyway) in pain as it's being ripped apart.

Please do not post videos of grotesque killing, whether its human or not, they are unacceptable.

If I knew anyone that did this... I would not hesitate to beat their ass.

I'm not an animal rights activist, but torturing simply out of "fun" is asinine and should be punishable. If not by law, I will take the matter of punishment into my own hands. If I was arrested for it? I'd love to go to trial and catch PETA's eye.

Animal testing? I'm for it... Simply because the animals being used for testing are raised specifically for that reason. It's not performed on the domesticated animals we all know and love.

Hell, I found a small fawn caught in my neighbor's barbed wire fence with it's ankle broken off. I cut it loose and brought it water. Yeah, my cousins are pretty screwed up people. They are all gang members, and if not for that, I might think of trying to beat their asses. But when there's 30-40 of them and their friends, and one of me, I'd rather leave them to rot in their humid little slum.
