i dont think the world is going to end, but maybe the mayan culture will end. I guess we will have to wait it out and see for ourselves... unless you die before then which i hope none of you die

did anyone read the first reply to the topic lol. Go read it and i have some things to add:

1. Yeah the mayans got a bunch of things kinda close to right, there however is NO proof that they thought the world would end. They just never finished their calendar past that date. Also many of their predictions were close, but many many more were wrong.

2. Basically agreeing totally with the reply, and adding: There would be a LOT more activity quite quickley if the sun was truly going haywire. tis a very unstable thing

3. the man/woman/thing/poster speaks the truth. They've used these before, they dont create black holes, and even if it did it would be incredibly small and would fill itself quite fast (all a black hole is is a pocket where there is NO matter at all, so it sucks in nearby surrounding matter at the atomic level to fill itself.)

4. got nothin to add, poster covered it all

5. what he said plus: Pressure isnt building at all. You know those thousands of geisers at yellowstone? Yeah thats the volcano releasing pressure at regular intervals so that it doesnt erupt.

6. nothin to add

7. i have heard nowhere that the poles are slowing/speeding in their movement. Plus ive already learned this in school. Basically all that happens is compasses needles will spin untill the poles pass eachother which compasses will then point south. Plus they poles arent even gonna meet for another few thousand years

As many have already said, the details can easily prove the end of the world in 2012, but there's too much other proof that the world will last way longer.

besides,theyve predicted this for like ever.In 2000 they said it would go boom,on 6-6-06 hell was supposed to take over,back in 1991 my dad showed me a article that the world would end that year,so yah.bogus.

Seriously? If anyone knew when the world were to end and had evidence supporting their claim, there would be a mass panic all across the world.
This is just a bunch of idiots making stuff up.
