i believe that in 2012 that the end will not come but a drastic change will come... storms are brewing and the tension is rising.

Ok umm I did not read some of the pages on this thread just want to give my input.
I actually researched this trying to find some scientific basis for this claim. I found that this planet called Nibiru is going to crash into planet earth on 2012 supposedly. Nasa has photos of this planet coming toward earth. Nasa calls it Planet X. If you use that google space thing you can actually find it. Search youtube for Planet X on google earth.
Supposedly this planet is suppose to come orbit earth as it did a way long time ago and not hit earth but come close enough to cause the weather to change and temperature differentials. aka HOTT AS A MOFO. We are suppose to be able to see this planet in the sky as bright as day in May of 2009 [supposedly]
Thats when we will really know the truth I guess.

hmmmmm....... That video looks fake. Those images definitely looked computer generated, and they were extremely fuzzy. Any image from a government telescope should have excellent picture quality and there should be more than just blackness in the background. I just don't buy it.

I checked this out on google earth a few months ago and did see a moving object coming. The google earth now blocks it with a large black square so it cant be identifed any longer. I think this is government influence at hand. There used to be a video that showed you how to find it. Coordinates and such but now you cant. The video and user was removed some time ago.

BTW that video is from a regular persons computer. Google earth. you can download it too if you wanted to see it but theres that problem i stated.

Wow. That sounds pretty sick. But it's a bit hard to believe that the time between the worlds will make people change. Seriously, just because something happens, you begin to think diffrent, shift attitude or sum. But it's still very interesting.

OK here the science behind it, in order to be a planet it has to be big ( now days pluto is not that a planet any more), and in order to come close it has to have an extremely elliptical path ( like a comet does), if it was the size of a planet and had such path the gas giant would have swallowed with their gravitational pull, if not the sun would have eaten it up because for a planet that size to be that close to the sun it need the effect of jupiter to balance out the gravitational forces ( reason why mercury, venus, earth, mars and ceres are in betwen jupiter and the sun, the gravity from both and their respective distaces and the centripical force in balance. pluto which is a darft planet with a very elliptica path, every seventy years or so crosses neptunes path and althouhg they haven't collided, it is all in the reall of possibililty.

I still believe it more likely that a comet my come close enough to earth to actually hit it since they do have a very elliptical path, but because of theri light mass an super speed don't get eaten by the sun ( once in a while a gas planet, even rock planet eat up comets, last time was however was in 1994 when a comet collided with Jupiter)

This would've of been more believable if the video at least held some more substantial proof. All it did was show a picture of planet X. As I recall from my memory that planet been known for awhile now. And since it's been known for awhile of course they'll have pictures of it. All this video did was show a video of planet X atleast thats wat they said then they jus talked about how'll it'll drastically change life on earth but not even saying how. what also seemed funny was that they somehow stolen these secret documents so they can't reveal their true idenity. Jus like you read in those science fiction books and watch on sci-fi. It even had that creep music in the background for more suspense. for all I know they prolly recorded this in they room with a lava lamp and the lights off.

Seeker for the record i just finished high school and going to college in spring to be a major in Aerospace engineering.

now concerning the world ending, I find it more of a thread that some idiot actually causes a nuclear exchange, since we have been close to it before ( Cuban missile crisis) even when the nuclear stock pile has been reduced it is still a lot and more than enough to earth barren of all but most extreme living organism. If the 10,000 plus war heads don't kill you the radiation that will last for centuries will, but at the very least we will see the biggest fireworks show on the face of the earth.

the two other possibilities are meteor/ comet impact which will be essentially the same a nuclear exchange but bigger explosion.

the other one is, supernova explosion of a star between 1000 -2000 light years a way because it is theorized that certain time of supernova can send concentrated gamma rays, and although it is very unlikely that it hits earth directly, if it does it burn a gapping hole in the ozone ( which already has a hole ), and will leave defenseless against all the radiation of the sun. The point of impact will all melt or even vaporize.
but of course the possibilities are really small considering that there are only a few supernovas every year( but of course if you add up the age of the earth in to equation some thing that has a 1 in billions probability should have theoretically already happen four times, to date it hasn't happened.
