Melamine
Melamine by itself is nontoxic in low doses, but combined with cyanuric acid it can cause fatal kidney stones due to formation of an insoluble melamine cyanurate.

Melamine is described as being "Harmful if swallowed, inhaled or absorbed through the skin. Chronic exposure may cause cancer or reproductive damage. Eye, skin and respiratory irritant.” However, the toxic dose is on a par with common table salt with an LD50 of more than 3 grams per kilogram of bodyweight.

FDA scientists explained that when melamine and cyanuric acid are absorbed into the bloodstream, they concentrate and interact in the urine-filled renal microtubules, then crystallize and form large numbers of round, yellow crystals, which in turn block and damage the renal cells that line the tubes, causing the kidneys to malfunction.

Cyanuric acid
This white, odorless solid finds use as a precursor or a component of bleaches, disinfectants, and herbicides.

I heard bout this about a week ago, and anyways u cant assume its on purpose, and just because something is on the news doesnt mean its 100% truth, remember the meda thrives upon sensationalism and "bad news is good news" and all that. Yes this chemical has been found in products, but it doesnt not mean it is there for any malicious purpose.

Melamine is used to improve the product's attractiveness, but the fags did not care or give a fuck about the consequences. Millions are affected because of the Melamine in dairy products.

This is a showcase of human nature and greed. Face it. China fucked up. BIG TIME.
