Aww I wish we could reach Jupiter and somehow melt the water but listen maybe the things are alive because do you remember the ice age? Some kind of cavemen still lived there and other animals right? So why not on Jupiter's moons?

there was life before the ice age though, things managed to escape, adapt and find warmer homes.

if u melted the water it would freeze again, this water isnt just frozen its tempreatures in the -100/200 it wouldnt unfreeze for very long at all, infact it would take a hell of an effort to unfreeze it, then there is keeping it unfrozzen for centuries allowing life to begin.

and our ice age wasnt that cold compared to these planets, seriously

Well, just redirect a huge astroid right at the Jupiter's moon and then let the astroid change the course of Jupiter's moon to a different spot closer to the sun and then that would cause the ice to melt.
