Let's think that this whole outer space is a round shape and black colour/dark. So no matter how we explore, we won't know we already explored the place and we think that it's a new place. No to mention about new planets or galaxies are newly formed at the same time. So it's impossible to say how big is the universe. I do believe there are aliens since this universe is big. We live in Milky Way galaxy right? So there might be other galaxies other than our Milky Way. Maybe a time portal or time travel can help us go to other galaxies or planets

I do believe that there might be single celled microscopic organisms somewhere in the vastness of space but I highly doubt anything multicellular.

EDIT: Also you have to put in the question on what we consider as alien. The crap we throw up in space could meander through the cosmos and comeback as some mutated... thing... kind of like when in cowboy bebob spike left some lobster in a freezer for a while and forgot about it and it turned into some weird blob.

Well, thank god we won't be living that long to wait for this war. How come you doubt there are any multicellular things out there? If the universe really is endless then the possibility is high that there could be other multicellular things.

Man...if you think about it...the earth is just so weird. How earth is just so small and the universe is so big. Does the universe end? Where does it end? Are their other life? ETc...so many questions left unanswered.

I was pertaining more towards intelligent multicellular organisms, but now that I think about it there could be some sort of colonial organisms out in space. Like you said the universe as we know it is endless so there still is a possibility. But most likely I'm going for my idea that sometime the garbage and crap we throw into space will mutate and take form and create a new organism.

the garbage and crap we throw into space is metalic and holds absolutely no life potential properties, also space is a vacum and any living bacteria that was on the garbage is now freezed/destroyed/dead. theres not a chance in hell it could mutate, life is imposiible in space, its absolute zero, is a vacum and has no molecues or gases floating around. there is nothing for life...to create life u must have a few basic elements. carbon,oxygen, nitrogen and hydrogen, without that there will be nothing and in space there is nothing so. nothing+nothing= nothing, it just doesnt happen.

oh and @ ben: ya any good at physics and maths cos heres a thing for ya...when someone doesnt know the answer to ur questions, find the answer for urself. and wa la u now have a goal in life lol.

its more of a hopeful thought of mine, more like optimism to the extreme.

I think that there is probably life beyond Earth somewhere out there. The Universe is so huge.

I believe in aliens of course. I believe them because one time I had a dream where I was on the rooftop on my school, and a UFO came and picked me up into the UFO. Then I woke up.

Lol, we get it, no mutation can happen xD

Anyways, I'm decent in science and math but I love science and use to like math. (Not doing so good in math right now)

I try my best but if I can't find the answer I look for some distintive answers from other readers. I want to know their opinions.

Nope, I don't believe in that. (The upside down world thing)

But I do believe that there are other things living out there.

Mutation occurs if the living thing is frozened in space and drifted and landed on another planet that has the certain factors that allow it to mutate.

for there to be mutations, there first must be life. there is no life in space= no mutation. also if somethong is frozen in space, thats absolute zero, then it will die nothing can withstand that tempreature.
then theres the landing on another planet bit lol....

but ur right mutation occurs to suit the surrounding enviroment, it takes ages but it will happen eventually. and talking about an upside down world, that wouldnt be aliens but just us in a different dimension.

but there could be things out there. i mean on one of the moons of jupitar they found everything that is needed to create life... except the water is frozen XD
