I go with subbed not because of the ridiculous argument that you lose meaning because even with subbed you lose meaning. I choose subbed because so many dubs are poorly done which is why i think everyone just says oh it just lost meaning because it was dubbed. No it lost meaning because the noobs dubbing it just wanted to make some money and either didn't care about staying true to source material or just didn't want to put the effort into making it good. One good example of a dub would be FLCL by far best dub i've ever seen.

I like them both ways. With subs they are more accurate and like said above more authentic. HOWEVER i like dubs because if the window with the show is in behind something, or if I am not paying full attention I can still get the just of it without having to go... WAIT, WTF just happened??

subbed is way better. people allready gave my explanation. you lose translation, and sometimes the dubbed voices are horrible.
the animes i like dubbed are, rurouni kenshin, full metal panic, vandread, yuyu hakusho, gundam wing, and inuyasha. 6 out of like the billion anime's i have seen

To be completely honest, RAW is better than both. Subbed is best for people not familiar with the language that insist on watching the show. I designated dubbed shows as shows that I can watch while eating, since I don't have to pay attention so much to the reading involved.

Are you kidding me?
Dragon Ball Z's original voices are horrible.

-And you can't automatically assume subs are more accurate.
1.) It depends on who is translating. Anyone can do it here, it's the internet.
2.) If it's dubbed, it's translated by someone who completely knows the language. They may change it to sound better, but you get the idea.

Subs > Dubs. Almost always. There are a few exceptions, where the dubs aren't actually embarrassing to hear. (Like, FMA). The reason those aren't too horrible is probably that they were aired in english (as in, with money) on adult swim or what-not.

Which reminds me... Ichigo's Hollow voice on the new dubbed episodes is horrible... Sounds like complete sh*t... All femmy and whatnot.

I prefer subbed mostly cause so many dubbed animes dont match the sound of the voice to the character. To many time it seems the use a younger voice to match a character thats obviously older
