It's one of the most boring book/diary I've ever read. Don't recommend reading it. It mainly talks about this immature girl writing her thoughts and feelings about people she's living with.

Diaries are often boring, they aren't written with the idea of entertaining folks after all. Doesn't help either if you're essentially cooped up in a small room 24/7.
Not as if she had the option of going, say to the beach, or having a picnic in a park, or going to the movies etc etc.

It's just one of the few mental survival methods, that folks develop in such a situation. And I guess it beats having a nervous breakdown.
