"Diary of Anne Frank"
I was made to read this "diary/book" thing and I was made to watch the play as well. It's about a Jewish girl and her family that hide in the "annex" or the a hidden spot in the office to hide away from the Nazi's. I won't spoil the story but just wondering if anyone else read or heard of it o.o

I read the book. I thought it was somewhat neat/interesting, but when I read it, I was too young to appreciate any of it.

Lawl I just had to comment that your post was the "666th" post lol which is like the sign of the devil xD anyways...
Even now I don't fully understand the book and I really think that instead of the robber who gave the location of the "annex" away, it was probably Mr.Kraler or Miep to be honest. That's my honest opinion because you have to think outside of the box

They made us read it and watch the movie back in elementary school... its not bad considering its based on true events, and a real diary.

We are watching the movie too but after the book, and play I don't feel like watching the movie. I think that the whole diary thing was just weird...It's rather interesting how it got turned into a book. I kind of feel like the dad of anne (Mr.Frank) just wanted to leach some money off the book.

Of course we've heard of it. Anyone who's been to 8th grade should have heard of Anne.

Read the book, watched a bit of a movie...I preferred Elie Wiesel's personal biography called "Night". I suggest you check that out to get a real feel for what it was like to be a Jewish person in the most terrifying camp in World War II...Konzentrationslager Auschwitz.

Sorry Avan but I'm not the reading type. I only like to read when I must or read when it's really interesting + if there is a movie that goes along, for say..., Eragon.

REading is good for you! I personally read a lot.. but avan's right, Night is an amazing and horrifying retelling of the holocaust. And since its going to be required reading anyways, you should read it. ^^
oh and I love eragon too! Do you know the 3rd one is going to be called Brisingr? and there is now 4 books in cycle instead of the original planned trilogy.
