Kinda hard to compare, because Jackie's movies are almost always comedies, while Jet's are usually darker. They also have very different styles of fighting:
Jackie is very defensive, keeping himself unharmed and turning his opponents' attacks back at them. Jet is much more aggresive. I couldn't be certain, but I think Jackie moves faster too. (Know that they have to be slowed down in their movies since they move so fast).
My favorite is Jackie, I've always liked him, and haven't seen as much Jet. I was really happy to know they're doing a movie together, though. Can't wait to see it.

Too bad he died but I doubt that. Bruce Lee screams too much when he hits people. Like when he punches someone he screams AHHHHH.

Jet Li is a martial artist that plays in a lot of movies not a lot but quite a few.

Bruce Lee was more of an enhanced product of Hollywood. While the major part of martial artists make some kind of sound when exerting themselves, it's completely unnatural and unrealistic to drag it out to a long "WAAaaAAaAaaAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahHhhhhHhhhH!!!!!"
And I believe he was expressing sarcasm about the Jet Li statement

Silver's rather perceptive. But yes, I agree with you on both points, the exaggerated attack noises and the Jet-joke.

I actually have to disagree there, if you have ever seen Bruce Lee's training regimen, or his actual speed, he is arguably the best martial artist alive. Aside from those screams which I agree is for the impression, Bruce Lee is perhaps the most fit most adept martial artist alive.
Two finger pushups ftw! ^^

actually, the "waaaaah" does help in terms of fighting, but may have been exaggerated in his movies.
the "waaaaaah" helps to tighten ur muscles as you strike your opponent.
or at elast something like that...i used to do karate lmfao

It's unnecessary to do anything more than a short grunt. If anything it'll just drain your body of energy faster. If you constantly expel all your breath just to make your screams, you're depleting your body of much needed oxygen. Purely hollywood effect.. I'm in the process of learning Muay Thai, and each time I strike, I make a weird hiss noise, and that's it. No weird noises.
As for the Jackie Chan and Jet Li debate. ..
Are you guys familiar with Jackie Chan's martial arts record? He's not only very skilled at one type... He's skilled at many.: hapkido, tae kwondo, judo, shaolin and wing chun kung fu.
Jet Li is very skilled in Wushu, which is the Chinese national sport and a discipline of martial arts known for it's performance style, rather than a mode of fighting.

I think the reason people think Jet would be better in a fight is because he's so aggresive in his movies.
Also, you get a lol point for "and each time I strike, I make a weird hiss noise, and that's it. No weird noises."

I can't lie, this is what I think. Jet Li looks like a really tough kind of person and Jackie just fools around a lot like being funny.
This is why we need to gather a huge fan group and all start sending mails, emails, packages, to Jackie and Jet Li to have a match together and get it filmed or something.
