Speed Racer

Well ill tell you this movie was a letdown to me... even though i never wanted to go see it in the first place. i was dragged into it by my friends. Though i used to like the old speed racer cartoons. this movie really annoyed me. Especially speeds younger brother. and his movie was way too kiddy. i can't believe i saw it lol =(
what do you guys think

I haven't seen the movie, but based upon the trailers I've seen it looks terrible.

The trailers look like another one of those badly animated films which I enjoyed when I was younger.

Just like "Spy kids 1,2,3", "Shark boy and lava girl" etc...

Well... It looks too much like F-Zero... I watch the trailers and keep thinking that I'll hear "Falcon PUNCH!" in the trailer or something!

And, not only that, but I think they destroyed the Theme song... Everyone knows, or at least knows some of, the theme song. I heard how they turned it into some kinda' weak rap-ish' song and was totally taken aback. I mean, how can they do that?

All in all, I really don't want to see this...

I never liked the series. Why?

Because I never knew it was anime until about 5 months ago. Not to mention the artistry was just crappy to me. It looked like a racing version of Ranma 1/2. Did I mention how American it all looked?
