I've watched countless trailers, and read tons of previews. I still can't put together what this game is going to be like at all. It is just so different to anything that has been released ever, especially on a Sony platform (most unique controls ever).

I am a PS3 owner, and I'm up for buying good games. I just don't know looks epic, but next to list of solid jrpgs, God of War, Dantes' Inferno, and Bioshock 2 I just don't know.

r2 to move forward...uhmmm are the game developers on crack or something... Im all for innovation but you just dont fuck with the left analog sticks power over movement... also quick time events only work well when they are used to break up the action abit like in god of war...just saying...

Im seriously mega curious about what this is gonna be like. I think its gonna be fuckin amazing. We need more innovations in games and now its finally starting to happen. People will always be sceptical when someone tries to do something different. Im really looking forwards to this.

Content isn't really the only things that make games revolutionary, in this console generation "revolutionary" usually refers to the presentation of the game. This game gets the title "revolutionary" because this game is far and above different in terms of presentation from every other game like it for its genre.

Uncharted 2 was "revolutionary", but it wasn't that different gameplay and plot-wise from the first game. The graphic presentation is what blew everyone away though.

Hmm I wouldnt say its always graphics that makes something revoloutionary, tbh graphics dont mean shit imo, they're just the sugar coating around the technical bits that actually make the game worth playing. U could have a game with the best graphics ever seen but that aint worth a crap if its unplayable or bland gameplay. To me its revoloutionary if it breaks away from all the typicalities and over-used techniques in the game play. Originality is the key here.

I think ppl are being too fast to judge this game, I think its got the potential to be amazing. All the best things in life that really make a splash are always slated at first because people dont get it straight away.

Put it this way, Im glad its not another fucking 1st person shooter at least.

I really hope this game lives up to its hype, I think it could be something awesome.

I played the demo, Its really interesting and the strange controls actually kind of work in a way that makes you more apt to look around than just run through stuff. The characters seem well though out and the theatrical nature of the game gives it a really cool feel.

If I had to criticize one aspect though it would be the voice acting. The dialogue is awkwardly paced and poorly directed, which really takes you out of the experience pretty quickly. I know this is a weird thing to get hung up on, but in a game were its more about "watching" than "playing" elements like acting take a higher priority. One solution I didn't try is I'm pretty sure you can change the language to french (The original language) and play with subtitles. Kind of an obvious solution for someone who watches anime right?

It got a 9.5 or something out of 10 in the Gameinformer, so it obviously is a good time.

However, it looks really slow paced, and more of an interactive movie than a hardcore game.
I play videogmaes so i can be brought into another unbelievable world, do things i can't do in real life, compete with other players, etc.
I don't play videogames for a cinematic movie experience. heavy Rain seems to be a interactive movie.
I'd rather watch a good movie and not be annoyed to walk around, do daily chores, hit some QTE buttons, etc.
