i played and beat the game boy advance version through emulator.
i could get ps1 one too through emulator but i just feel lazy now days. even though i heard ps1 version is even more badass than advance version.

i really liked this game though, it was pretty cool. took me a while to beat everything

ive beaten the ps1 and gba versions many many times, one of the finest tactics games out there ever made. cant wait for A2 to come out

A2 has been out a long time xD i've bought it, beat it and returned it. main chara is luso who u should know from war of the lions for the psp.

sadly i traded in my psp to pay a few bills and renew my wow subscrip so i didnt get to play it on the psp so i dont really know what it was like but ill check up on A2 and see if i cant find the rom for it somewhere.

I beat the GBA game, maxing the sequence is hard as hell to say the least. So boring *facepalm*

I loved the psp version myself, enjoyed using sub-characters as well.

Love the concept of Final Fantasy Tactics (although the first was pretty boring).
The games lack in plot though

What do you expect.. all plots would be similar.. revolt.. bla bla bla... young hero saves the day... encounter powerful friends/foes, bla bla bla... yuo get the point

i suggest getting dark knights in the psp version
they rock so much and are worth the tweaking lol

For the people who just played the advanced tactics.... Ive gotta say, you missed out. The ps1 game was about.... like, 100000 times better? Better story, better people, no stupid laws.... and you can get chocobos in your party. Where can you go wrong with that?

For starters, the chocobos suck, its not your main concern in the game.
The main concern is probably to get your characters up to high-end classes, such as an geomancer >: 3

nonesense! the dual-wielding knight with monk skills is the truly ultimate class. It takes work, but is the single handedly best thing you can achieve.

although.... the geomancer is fun for kicks.

I love using lancers.... powerful attack, high mobility....

Mages kinda kick-ass as well...
