Crash of the Titans, My Thoughts
You know
After playing this game for a while...I've come to realize, that I gotta stop being such a Naughty Dog fanboy and come to grips with the fact that they sold Crash to Sierra, sure I like Sierra for Metal Arms but I was too arrogant to believe it. So sure I hated Wrath of Cortex with a vengeance, but I loved the hell out of Twinsanity. But after seeing the new look I pretty much lost my shit and got angry...but I have learned, "You are a complete fucking noob if you judge books by its cover...or in this case games by their case..."
So sure I have a few problems with the newly made characters, Nina looks Emo, and Tiny is a homesexual Mike Tyson, and Crash look like he stuck his finger in an electrical socket while biting into the worlds sourest lemon, but I have gotten used to them for a while, and over time started to like the new look, especially the new N.Gin...MONKEYS!
Well a few complaints with the game is that there are some balancing issues (If your fighting 4 spikes on hard mode your better off restarting the game because your gonna get raped) and a few camera issues (I had problems with the Rhinoroller flying off screen and sucker punching me where I can't see him) But honestly I like what they've done, I fucking adore the new environments, the dialog rivals the funniness of Twinsanity, and its got some nice voice acting (Cortex steals the show yet again)
So if you can deal with a few camera issue and some unrelenting difficulty rivaling that of Ninja Gaiden *(I'm playing on Titans on Hard Mode BTW) Go ahead and pick it up, its around $18 used at gamestop and I found a perfectly clean copy. But if your still in denial go ahead and skip it till you get the courage to realize Crash Bandicoot has moved on with the next genration like I did.
So overall I would give the game a 8.7/10
