There is something wrong with society

On February 13th an openly gay 8th grader named Larry was murdered by a fellow classmate named Brandon. 4 days earlier, on February 9th, Larry had asked Brandon to be his valentine.

Brandon was so shocked that he actually felt that the right thing to do was to murder Larry. This REALLY pisses me off because it shows that society has messages in it that made Brandon beleive that this was the right thing to do. People NEED to step up and show the we are al equal and the we must all co-exists

Um thats most societies, like Texas. Canada we tend to be more open, and we usually say thats all fine and good but I don't swing that way dude. I do agree tho killing some people for being gay is wrong, thats why its a called a hate crime. Tho in some states a gay man coming on to use can be used as a defence for murder, although it doesn't tend to happen much.

Simple, he himself prefered guys. He found Brandon attractive and he thought he might swing that way as well. Some guys do have feminine traits, even though they themselves are strictly heterosexual.

Simple a case of faulty gaydar. Mature thing to do would've been to say something along the lines: Hey, I'm flattered, but I don't swing that way.

To put it in simple terms:

Humans...a disgusting race capable of both love and hate, desire and resentment. A group of beings whose sole purpose in life seems to be nothing but the ultimate destruction of those other humans who are not like the one human.

Examples: Brandon killed Larry simply because Brandon himself was not gay.
In the movie called "American History X", a young teen named Danny was murdered by a black kid simply because Danny was white, not black.
6 million Jews, as well as several other million people, were murdered by the Nazis during WWII simply because they:
weren't German
didn't have blonde hair
didn't have blue eyes
weren't of Aryan blood
were Jewish
but most importantly, because they were just the tiniest, least bit different.

To sum it all up: humans are a disgusting race. They will all die by their own hands.

Your right that Branden or something had no right to kill Larry and therefore should be punished with death or imprisionment for the rest of his life. It's the basic law of eye poking(You take an eye for an eye)

I think that it's just wrong. What so wrong about gay people? Though to be perfectly honist I think that Brandon must've been a bit of a pysco just to kill someone because they thought that they might be gay as well.
