Well, after looking at the thread Cisco started, I noticed that it seems there are many people afraid of things etc... so I decided to make this thread to maybe find help for others or get help myself etc...

Okay so I'll begin...

I am afraid of the grudge, and if you don't know what that is then youtube it or something lol. Well, simply put, it's this weird monster thing that comes out of your body and like kills people (I think, I didn't watch the whole movie) and when your like taking a shower and your washing your hair the grudge hand comes out o.o

I am scared to wash my hair because the hand thing might pop out of my head first thing and I hate washing my hair because I would have to close my eyes to rinse the soap/shampoo off and when I close my eyes O.o I don't know what could happen

Also, I get a little creeped out when I'm taking a shower once again because this other movie had like this bloody girl in the tub and the movie does this flashing thing that scares you even more. Once the screen flashes during the movie, she jumps at you I mean at the person played in the movie and it's just so all creepy she was in a bath of blood o.o

Can anyone help me with this problem and please don't tell me to say to myself that "monsters are not real, monsters are not real...100 times" I don't think that would work?

Uhm, the fix for your problem, is that stuff like that isn't real. I believe in things like spirits(ghost if you want to call them that) but imo their just stranded souls. Not like they can hurt you or kill you or whatever. Only thing that really ever scared me was spiders, but most other things I'm fine with. If I see a spider, I just kill it. Fixes my problem LOL

I am also afraid of spiders and I'll try and put your theory to test. I really find this problem to be a big thing because sometimes during the summer I haven't showered for up to three weeks. Oh yeah, I don't like to sqush spiders because all their guts get on your stuff EWWWW lol

Dude..seriously...not showering for over 3 weeks is disgusting in its own part, but just cause of a movie? I don't want to offend you or anything, but maybe you shouldn't watch horror movies, if it bothers you that badly.

Lolz, like I'm going to pay money for someone to tell me that I'm afraid of scary movies. I'm also afraid of blood I think it's called (Hemophobic) if not mistaken. I mean like not afraid of blood like spazzing out but rather just shivering a little bit I mean quivering but just a little bit. I just don't like the sight of it and when I get a paper cut when I talk my voice shakes a little like when you get nerves on stage or something or reading a report infont of your class.

Edit: It's kinda feminine, but I'm scared of bugs too. Especially roaches. I woke up one day with a 5 inch roach sitting on my chest when I was 6, and since then they make me ask my mom to kill them... lol I bet she's proud. =\

I think majority of the world population is afraid of the cockroach. I know I am, lol. As much for fears, that's one of them. And I can vouch saying that I didn't like "The Grudge" that much either. I don't fancy those types of movies.

Like wtf how can you be scared of cockroach, cockroach is afraid of you i mean you are like 100x times bigger than bug and you still afraid of it.
And elephant is like 10x times bigger than you and nobody is afraid of him ...
So then we got to this conclusion , "Size doesn't matter" lol

grudge freaked me out too, damn lil kid screaming like a cat. my fear is dead living children. ones that are dead but talk or go all murder-on-your-ass style.

@benawolnow as for being afraid to shower or close your eyes in bath, you should just do it for one second. then the next day two seconds and so on and so forth. eventually you will lose count and lose the fear.

@hoboX10 regardless of the movie being "retarded" it was still freaky. watch "ringu" the original japanese version of the ring, way scarier than the US version. and your cockroach fear, i can see where it came from. TBh the only thing i can come close to beating that fear is make sure you stamp all roaches you see and eventually you will have stamped so many you think no other roach can scare you.

sure we are bigger than roaches and sure elephants are bigger than us but only one of these is immune to nuclear rays.
