where and how do you get reputation? i have 1 reputation now and im not sure where it came from. care to explain a little to me?

Basically, if you do good for the site and at least try to keep out of trouble, your reputation goes up. it also helps to be a moderator or administrator.

you get reputation points when an admin decides you deserve an "upgrade on the food chain" so to speak, you earn them by being helpful, following rules, and prolly soon winning contests

and not necessarily avan

Actually it doesnt help to be a mod. i have 1 rep and i got it before i got the post here as media mod.

yes, it's true I most likely got 2 points for being the only Super Mod and working my ass off improving site, but they're are many ways you can earn them

and i have have another question. What is with the stars under my name? just a few hours ago there was only one star now i have 2. i dont really get this stuff so could any1 explain the stars to me?

The stars are to do with the number of posts u have contributed to the board.

for example i think after 100 posts u get 3 stars... maybe its 90+

also i believe some site staff such as naga and that started off with 5 stars to begin with and there colour of there stars are colour coded, kinda the same with when u look at bottom of form to see who is online, blue is normal member, green is site staff and red is admin. i dont think its the same for star colours though.

u can get up to 5 stars but i do not know how many posts that is, haha u must of went post crazy since last time we spoke lol.
