MAL question

Alright, so, I had logged off MyAnimeList and couldn't remember my password. I had it send me an email to get a new password, since it doesn't tell you what you had. The email never came, so I dipped into my inbox and found my Welcome email.
Tried the pass.
Of course, it didn't wory because they obviously reset your pass when sending forgotten pass emails.. and the pass is changed even if you never get said email.

Question: Anybody know how I can get in touch with 'Xinil' or any possible staff? I looked around and saw nothing that would help further my cause, and I don't want to make a new account and have to redo the list, nor do I want to make a new account just to send him a PM or message that possibly won't be read. That all aside, I also saw no way to contact him or staff for help. (Hence my question...)

Thanks for bothering to read if you did, and thanks in advance for help or support in my trying time.

(No, but seriously, it's hard to live without MAL, lol.. so help!

Doubt a staff will help you if you "claim" that you lost your password and request help getting it.

Three reasons,
...don't think they have that kind of power.
Too many people to help, they can't be bothered with a problem like this.
Kind of your fault for forgetting so it's not their problem.

Now...here is what I suggest. REDO the list, I know you don't want to but it's quiet simple. You can just look at the MAL account that you can't get into and use that as a reference of what kind of anime and rating etc...and just transfer it over manaually.

Yeah, But it's more than just the list that I have to redo. I'll probably have to though.

in it say that u asked for ur pass to be reset but u havent recieved the email and if they could help.

they will get back to u. and cos ur asking for the email to be sent properly they wont think ur a hacker or anything.

If I want to PM the site owner (the only admin I've seen), I'd have to make a new account. I don't know if that would look suspicious or not, but I'm not sure if I should make a new account just for that reason. Well, I guess I'll give it a shot. Better than nothing...
I've thought about doing this, but it took you to tell me to do it for me to do it, if you get what I mean. So thanks. (lol)

Well there are a lot of members there so I think that would be hard to contact with the staff members. Try doing the "forgot password" and resend the email see if you receive it the second try.

Hmm....usu. the link should work, but try like ben said, having the server resend the passwords more than 1 time.

I had tried it about 5 times before I made this thread, lol.

The site owner never got back to me, but just a few minutes ago I decided to give it a last shot, and it sent me a pass! sweet!

This time, remember to remember your password or put it somewhere.

This is why I don't have that many passwords for everything, I have like 3 different passwords I ususally use so everytime I forgot a password I just re-try those 3.

Basically the same here, I was a bit leery of MAL at first though, so I used a password I normally don't use. I could have sworn I tried it too, but I guess I typed it wrong (or it was changed but the email wasn't sent before I tried it).
