The Usual Gentleman

This is what you usually see a gentleman doing. I'm saying 'usually' so no one can say "Oh, well, some gentlemen don't do that stuff" and whatever else.

You might be a gentleman if...

You open the door for a girl, whether you receive a thank-you or not.

You lower the toilet lid at home for your wife, girlfriend, sister, or mother.

You pull a chair out for a girl, let her sit in it, then softly push her back up to the table.

Benawolnow: Not smoking or drinking alcohol or doing drugs infront of a lady.

Benawolnow: When you have respect for your own body and being clean or well dressed.

Benawolnow: When you are loyal to your friends and respectful to elders.

Benawolnow: Control your temper when your with others.

You follow all or most of these.

Pretty ok but just wondering um Avan why are you writing all these love stuff lol. First the caption for your random pictures then the thread about you know your in love with a girl when...and now this xD

Here might be some extra ones you can add.

Yeah but for high school students, it seems a little harder. Maybe not to everyone but to me it seems a bit hard. I'm just too shy when it comes to girls :O

Funny thing is that the girl I like might even like me back but I'll never know because I am too chicken to ask.

I used to be like that, but then i just started to be myself and the fear vanished.

I wonder if I'm the only Chick on these forums..

Anyway, I will say (from experiance) These things are really nice.They make me feel important and cared for, even if it is a first date or whatever it is. Some of my guy friends think they should only do this with someone they are wooing, but really, I think it just shows what kind of guy you are when you do something like this just because. It gets you in the right state of mind, or I would think. I wouldn't say I expect it, but it certainly is nice and sets the mood of the day in general. :3

Yeah, actually, I am. But that's not why I wrote all this stuff.

I'm just showing a part of me that few ever really get to see. At school(Ghos7Soldier knows this well), I'm actually rather quiet and shy away from people. Sadly, people who don't see that for what it is take me to be a stalker and a creep. Understandable. I lose my temper easily and have a tendency to lash out at people, even if they're my best friend. But, I've had a rather troubled past, so I kinda just try to do stuff for other people so they don't have to suffer through the same stuff.

Currently, I'm working on a new thing I'm gonna call the Human Advancement Project. If I'm lucky to start it at my school, then within my hometown, I wanna make it an international thing. The Human Advancement Project, designed to show people a deeper side to themselves, a softer side, capable of compassion and empathy.

I'm not physically strong, but I train my skills as a gentleman every day at school. Sure, I usually get about 3 thank-you's for every 10 girls I hold a door for, but oh well. Understandable. I'm not exactly runner up for 100th place at a male beauty pageant. But where I lack the looks, I make up for with sincerity, tenderness, and a strange knowing of the human brain, female & male.

Awe, that's sweet. Life after High School changes a lot, in my experience. People tend to see you for who you are rather than how you look. It will get better.

According to my cousin, demons are less likely to be able to hurt me due to my "%&^* you, I don't give a care" attitude towards people I don't know or don't like.

I would go nuts not like killing spree but nuts like being silly

Keep it up with the door holding :O but sometimes it may seem f0g-ish O.o if they are like half a mile away and your holding the door and waving like come come come xD
