Do you ever get Nightmares?

Do you guys ever get nightmares? You can talk about it here.
EDIT: Also dreams, you can discuss it here if you want to share it.

Really cool thing that I am going to try:
There is this really awesome thing that involves dreams that I always wanted to try. I am going to try to have a dream like a actual dream and then I will suddenly during the dream tell myself that I am in a dream and I must wake up.

Since I never did this before, I think that there are a few things that might happen but most likely not.

1. I will lose my mind and get stuck in the dream world.(Ok, sorry I am going beyond random o.o)

2. I could wake up

3. Not wake up

4. It might be way to hard to be able to tell myself that I am in a dream.

5. Open up some new universe (lol)

The day that I found those 'drugs' on the floor and called the police. I had nightmares about something else though.

It was about me and a few friends and we were all playing some kind of advance tag inside a house. Some guy was trying to kill us and we can't run pass this 10 feet thing that is all around the house. So basically we are all trapped inside a barrior and playing tag in a house with a killer. Something like that except I was the last one standing or something and I woke up o.o

I use to get alot of nightmares when i was younger, but now i dont get any, i dont even the remember the last time i had a dream either :S

Oh, what a nasty dream, Ben.
But I think what you referring to about waking yourself up in a dream is a Lucid dream, right? I heard that when you have lucid dreams you realize that its a dream and you can do anything in it. A friend told me that you really only get lucid dreams after you have some flying/falling dreams, which seems improbable, but since I've never had a flying dream or a lucid dream it might be true.

I get dreams a lot, especially after I moved. Yet, I haven't gotten a nightmare in a few months.

I think that is what I was reffering to thanks for telling me the name I can call it now xD. Anyways I just had a new dream today but I couldn't realise that it was a dream so I didn't do the lucid thing.

The dream went like this.

I was at my house with my mom and my dad was at work or something. Then the Anonymous people came and started to throw rocks at our house. And then we called the police and they all just started banging on the door. I had to use furniture to make a blockade. Then somehow after a bit, I got some kind of superman powers. I could turn invisable and turn into anything I want like for example a monster. Weird huh?

Oh I like my nightmares they're soo much funner then my dreams! I can remember one where I fell off a clift and was impales by a cone shaped rock, I forget what they're called. Oh ya, I don't think this was even a dream, but when I was 4-5 years old one day I was in my room, siting on my bed and I looked towards the door, it at first looked like it was 1 meter away, then it started to move backwards... Next thing I new it was 5 meters away, I was just a kid so I was thinking "what the hell, that doesn't make sence!", it happend about 5 times or something, and I was wide awake.

I can never remember my dreams or nightmares for some reason.
The only thing I ca recall about my nightmares is that I always get murdered. =]

I agree, same thing with me. When I first woke up I was like "OK, I'm going to post this somewhere and remember the dream". The next second I forgot about my dream then after a while I remembered it and now I lost most of it again.

Same thing happens to me, but isn't it fun to die in a dream and wake up?
If its to realistic, and you dont wake up right when you die, its like you lose all hope, then you wake, up and your greatful to be alive and you forget what it was like to lose all hope. Although thats sounds gloomy, its kinda funny.

I don't get bad dreams very often, but when I do, they're really scary. >_<

Like one time, in a nightmare, I was on this island with other people and such, and the island had a volcano, and when I was doing something (I forgot what), the volcano suddenly erupted, and then the rest that I can remember is that I was the only one to survive (kinda funky) and I watched a lot of people die. DX

And I also remember this one dream where I was in this one quarantined place (yet I wasn't sick in any way), and the other quarantined people were sick, but I didn't know with what, and all of a sudden this one sick girl in a miniskirt comes up and starts chasing me with a drill! (>_>) And then the next thing I remembered was that she drilled me in the back and at that moment I woke up, and when I was awake, I felt my back hurting in one spot. o_O;

I dont dream actually its weird, or when i do have a 'dream' im using killing someone, well more slaughtering then killing................(lets leave this reply be k ?)

and for future refference you will never die in a dream, its proven that u will always wake up just before it or just not die.

that used to happen tp me 2 when iw as about 7/8 id blink and my cupboard would look alot further away, it really freaked me out

Ya that shit is really freaky when your a kid, what i'd like to know is why the heck did that happen, and why it hasn't happend since then!
Also you can die in a dream, but theres two teorys to death in deam.
A. If you die, you could go into a coma, or die in real life. This is probably cause your mind true beleaves its dead and it shuts all body functions off. To me that seems to be the most logical reason w/o study that is.
B. You reach a state of enlightenment. This is more of religeon then science. Please remember kids, religeon is a theory, it has nothing to back it up but it hasn't been proven that it doesn't exist.

To me I've died in dreams, but in dream im notg aware of my death. How so? Since I dont know what death feels like, I dont know if I'm dead. To me its that simple. If I don't feel pain it doesn't exist, therefor if i get shot in the head and felt no pain therefor there was no pain to begin with. If there's no pain then nothing must have happend, if nothing happend the gun mustn't have been fired, therefor I'm still alive.
My mind is so complex that I refuse to beleave I'll die without experiancing pain, that and I wont acept my death. Therefor I'll never die in a dream.
Thats just how the cookie crumbles eh?

DIED in dreams? O_o Creepy. Never happend for me but sometimes my brain realizes i am dreaming its kinda cool xD Once i was dreaming i was on a bridge with all over brigth cartoon'ish color and i was like "this MUST be a dream" and while i was there i could do whatever i would like to xD
As goes for nigthmares...hmmm o.o Recently this whole year i havent dreamed at ALL >_< kinda sux. Well i once had a nigthmare about me being on a platform (tiny) with a maniac with a saw and a chain so that he could bind me to a pole o.o damn i was scared. Couldnt sleep again even if i was tireed xD
