Give credit to subbing groups.

Many people who upload anime onto website like veoh, most of the time do not give credit to the group who sub's the anime, instead gives it to themselves. Even though the video has the sub group name you should at least put on the description so us audience can find them.

Subbing groups should get the credit not just the uploader. It just a simple task that can be done by typing their group name on the description. This is not much to ask, since the subbing groups are the one who made it possible for us to watch the anime and understand it. It is only right to source whoever did the subtitles, and translation of the anime.

No im talking about the zomgsub. I am talking about the one that are being streamed. For ex. Gundam 00 sub by shinsen-sub all you could do for that page is put

Gundam 00 Sub by _______ and Uploaded by _______

rather than Uploaded by _______

Thats only for the ongoing animes we put whos in charge of placing them so if theres any problems you can contact them, its not to say ohh look i uploaded these give me thanks....

and as draganath said, they already get the credit as its on the video, why should you need to be told twice ??

ya, when we didn't have the staff member's name that updated the pg on the pg for the ongoing anime we had quite a few problems like "OMG! WHY ISN'T IT UPDATED!" so we put who adds the new eps for each pg in the ongoing section because we had alot of flaming this eliminates the problem like furan said, I update most of the ongoing animes and on time 95% of the time so I don't get much flaming

Im not saying the uploader are taking all the credit. To put the subbing group name would be saying thanks and appreciating one's work.Sourcing is important not just for reference ,but for finding other information.

It is too hard to credit every single anime subber for each and all their works. It is also hard to trace them down. Also what if we miscredit them? That would be unpleasent wouldn't it. I rather someone take my work with out crediting when I don't want crediting then to give the credit to someone else.

First of all, if you give the subbing group the credit then it would take to much time to do that. Second of all, if you gave them the wrong subbing group that would stink. I rather have someone use my anime that I subbed for the soul purpose to spreed it in the anime world, then to have someone else take credit for it.

And there you go, but just incase your still going to ***** about it why not just name the group like zomg subs? everyone can take a group credit? Oh wait then if some people dont do it then its a pain in the ass, but your not going to write the names down... What to do? what to do? I know!
How about asking the people who sub the anime to see what they want? I think thats more productive asking what they want to do and work from there... So ya question mark you should have done that in the 1st place, it's a lot faster to resolve a problem when the people who have to do with the problem are actually here to talk about it. I swear some people don't even think of the basics...

I am thinking of the basics. Its not hard for people who actually upload the file to find the subbing group because you downloaded from the sub group directly before you even upload file therefore its practically typing their name thats all. Not much to ask for.

Apple pie alone isnt good by it self it needs vanilla ice cream.

QuestionMark, get us 20 subbing groups that HAVE PROOF that they want us to credit them "this way". Then I bet we will think this over.
