A render is a render...

or basically a picture of a character or something with a transparant background so u can slap it on anything.

When you say transparent, you mean something like a white background? Meaning no images except for the character?

no and yes.

No not a white background. It's a transparant background.
And yes, only the character is in the image.

Renders can only be pngs by the way, and in rare cases gifs.
JPEG does not allow transparency.

Text on the signature, devilish. Other than that, do whatever you like. I know you're awesome at making sigs, so I trust you. Last wish, though, the coloring should be rather dark, that means black / gray. Do whatever you like.
