Finally got brushes sorted out on my gimp you can probably tell that i put them to good use, well I hope you think that. Anyways looky

errr... well I downloaded a couple from this site I used the cloud brushes for some of the white brush effects but I have a galaxy set of brushes...

Think i downloaded them from a photoshop site....not sure if photoshop brushes can work on gimp though this where most of brushes come from

You can try with the photoshop brushes though.
