Should we have an AMV Contest?

And before you bash this idea, I know AMVs take a lot of time, and requires significant computer resources, however, I do know that these contests are interesting and does get quite a lot of people not normally on to participate. And a good AMV is always good to watch so.

Your opinions everyone?

i would love an AMV contest although would you have to make a new AMV for it or could you use an already existing one that you made?(personally im going to make a new one i just think that it would be good to know)but i would defiantly join it

lol i cant make AMVs but i think it's a good idea. but we don't have many AMV makers now do we?

can there be more than one amv of the same anime from different people so if i do death note and Kaiizu does death note is that cool?

it would have to be held monthly though
amvs take time to make!

as long as they are different AMVs there shouldn't be any problem if they are the same anime. Different songs makes different AMVs completely.

putting themes to AMVs is harder than putting Themes to Drawings. Or so i've heard. so i don't know how hard itl be to keep the amvs different from each other. the themes would have to be pretty, loose leaving alot of room for imagination blah blah blah...

yea it would have to be pretty open i mean no one wants to watch basically the same couple of AMVs just with different songs and people in them but a theme would help alot

but when should we hold it anyway at the end of every month or what at most no more than 2 a month but waiting an entire month is just kinda boring and we'll probably lose passion to do it

i dont really find them that hard to make the getting the anime episodes is what takes longest for me i could presumably make like 10 or more a month i actually find it very fun but with all the real life issues and all that once or twice a month would probably be best
